Raaw Energy has voluntarily recalled multiple dog food products, distributed between July 17, 2025, and December 23, 2025. The Beef and Turkey Medley, with a date of March 31, 2026, has also been recalled. The recall, due to concerns of listeria contamination, affects nine states including Pennsylvania.

A full list of products that are part of the recall, including the date codes, can be found on the official website of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The dog food packaging consists of two-pound or five-pound plastic tubes with metal clips on both ends and was sold online with the consumer picking it up in person.

Only some of the products tested by the New Jersey Department of Agriculture contained Listeria monocytogenes. However, dog parents who have purchased the affected products should immediately discard them.

Dogs who are infected with listeria may display such symptoms as vomiting and diarrhea. While not all dogs will show symptoms, they can still pass the infection to humans via their saliva and feces.

Listeria infection in humans, which in severe cases can cause miscarriage, can lead to a variety of symptoms, including aches, diarrhea, fever, lethargy, and vomiting.

As of May 21, 2026, Raaw Energy has temporarily stopped its production of dog food.
