Doggone Raw LLC has voluntarily recalled batches of Bosco’s Chicken Blend due to potential salmonella contamination. The affected product, with a lot code of 4-24-27, comes in two-pound and 10-pound white plastic tubs.

Pet parents who have the affected product should stop feeding it to their dogs immediately.

Dogs who have been exposed to salmonella may experience a variety of symptoms, such as decreased appetite, diarrhea (which may have blood), fever, and lethargy. Not all dogs will display symptoms. Those who are asymptomatic can still transfer salmonella, including to humans, through salvia and feces.

Doggone Raw LLC has not released additional information, including a recall number or classification, or a press release about the recall.
