Watch the fall scenery roll by aboard one of the diesel-powered trains with Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway in Jim Thorpe. The Autumn Leaf Season runs from Sept. 26 through Nov. 15, 2026. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the fall train rides that last 45 minutes and offer spectacular views of the fall colors.

If you can’t make it during the autumn foliage, plan a future visit. Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway is dog-friendly year-round. Unlike the Autumn Leaf Season train rides, the regular season round trip rides take 70 minutes.
