Fromm Family Foods issued a recall of its Fromm Turkey Pâté Wet canned dog food and Fromm Diner Classics Milo’s Meatloaf Pâté Wet canned dog food because of possible metal contamination, the company announced on Aug. 21, 2026.

Fromm Turkey Pâté Wet Dog Food is packaged in 12.2-ounce cans and has UPC code 072705118700, lot code EP2A3306 551006, and a best by date of March 20, 2029. The Fromm Diner Classics Milo’s Meatloaf Pâté Wet, sold in 12.5-ounce cans, has UPC code 072705132324, lot code EP2A3306 551029, and a best by date of March 20, 2029.

The recalled dog food was sold in stores and online.

While no injuries or illnesses have been reported due to the recall, pet parents should keep an eye on their dog, if they’ve eaten the affected product and should consult their veterinarian if their dog displays any symptoms of illness or injury. Symptoms as a result of ingesting metal may include appetite loss, choking, lethargy, and lacerations in the gastrointestinal tract and stomach.

Fromm Family Foods advises pet parents, who have purchased the recalled product, to return it to the retailer.
