Enjoy a day Elmwood Park Zoo, with your pup, during one of the designated Dog Days or bring your pooch for a tasty pup cup at one of the select Yappy Hours. Dog Days welcome dogs to accompany their pet parents as they explore the zoo, although there are a few areas dogs are not allowed, including the Barn, Feeding Decks, and Wetlands Boardwalk.
All pet parents must provide evidence of their dogs’ current vaccines, an annual heartworm test, and an annual exam by a veterinarian.
Amenities
- Annual dog memberships available.
- Designated Dog Days throughout the year (excluding July and August).
- Yappy Hours are held select evenings from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Dogs receive a free pup cup.
- Designated areas for dogs to relieve themselves.
