Fresh always tastes better, whether it’s the first bite of a recently-picked apple as the juices drip down your chin or the crispness of the crust of a freshly-baked loaf of bread. That’s part of the appeal of farmers markets, a popular Pennsylvania tradition where, in many cases, all of the vendors are local, selling their own homegrown or homemade products. Next time you’re craving something fresh, slip a leash on your pup, and head to one of these eight dog-friendly farmers markets in Pennsylvania.
As always, before heading out, confirm the farmers market’s day(s) and hours on their website.
